Photos from 5ive: an exhibition

TFN's gallery show was a great success! She sold several pieces - a rarity in Detroit right now, as our economy is in the crapper - and we all had a great time. Here's a sampling of the exhibition.

It's amazing how much work she put in to bring this all together, not to mention how much work I put in helping with the framing.

I'm kind of glad the purple girl didn't sell; I mean it would have been nice for it to sell, but it's also the centerpiece in our living room!

I'm pretty proud of her.

I'm really impressed with the breadth of subject matter and artistic/techincal range of TFN's work, and I'm saying this without seeing any of it life-sized.

If it's not already sold, I see one I'd like to buy for someone's Christmas gift. I'll be in touch about it.

Wow, now that's a lot of quality work, and it's all beautifully matted and framed, or mounted and displayed in a unique way.

I especially like the black and white pieces. Tried to blow all of them up but it would only take me to flicker, heh.

How did you get that dalmatian to pose for you in the ultra florescent mega hippy flower pic? That flower is wow, magnificent.

The dalmatian is, unfortunately, not real. Which is good for him as that's a second-story windowsill. It's also best that way for the three gallery cats, who really don't mind being on the second-story sill, either.
