It was 40 years ago today...

On this date, in 1969, the U.S. government faked the moon landing.

In honor of this auspicious occasion, retired newsman Walter Cronkite was planning on revealing the coverup to the world.

Certain forces felt this should not be the case.

RIP Mr. Cronkite.

I blame the Illuminati.

Irreverence rules.

Just as an aside, I am 137% against a repeat moon landing or any other space exploration and will be until we've cleaned up and revitalized our dying oceans.

Seriously, where are the protesters?

Also, next time you do Italy, include some time at the Cinque Terra and Lago di Como. We kind of flubbed up the trip, spending too many days in Milan and two few in the places so easily accessible from there.

Northern Italian food gets a B to B+ on the bell curve including Florence's score, but the wine was good, and inexpensive -- just the way I like it.
